Last Sunday, 24th March, marked the celebration of the leading businesses in the hair and beauty industries in Ireland. Over 500 guests attended the Passoã Hair and Beauty Awards 2024, organised by Hi Style. Taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, in Little Island, Cork, the ceremony was presented by Amanda Brunker and Deric Hartigan.
A highlight of the night was Professor Paul Redmond’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his pioneering contributions to healthcare. As a trailblazer in the field, Professor Redmond’s dedication and innovation have left an indelible mark on the health industry, inspiring generations to come.
Speaking about the event, CEO of Hi Style Mary-Jane O’Regan expressed awe at the incredible atmosphere in the room, emphasising the exceptional talent present in Ireland. Her words underscored the pride and gratitude felt towards the wealth of talent within the country, further affirming the event’s significance in celebrating and showcasing Irish excellence.
Michael Mulcahy expressed his delight at witnessing the overwhelming support displayed for all the nominees. His sentiments reflect the sense of camaraderie and solidarity among participants, emphasising the importance of recognising and celebrating the achievements of peers within the industry.
