PTSB has been awarded The KeepWell Mark™, Ibec’s industry accreditation standard that recognises commitment to employee wellbeing and workplace health. PTSB is the only bank in Ireland to receive this accreditation.
The accreditation process involved a thorough review of PTSB’s people and culture practices across eight areas; Leadership, Absence Management, Health & Safety, Mental Health, Smoke-Free Programme, Physical Activity, Healthy Eating, and Intoxicants Policy. The process included site tours, employee interviews and analysis of various materials provided by PTSB across its 106 locations nationwide.
The assessment found that PTSB takes a proactive approach to employee wellbeing, particularly fostering a healthy work environment. People Managers and Senior Leaders were acknowledged for their dedication to prioritising employee welfare, contributing to a positive and supportive culture.
The achievement solidifies PTSB as a positive employer promoting wellbeing, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement in workplace health.
Ger Mitchell, PTSB Chief Customer and People Officer, said:
“At PTSB, we believe that there is a strong correlation between an employee’s mental health and their relationship with their manager and workplace.
