Laya Healthcare has officially opened its latest Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Cork this week. This new facility is part of Laya’s growing network and is the fifth clinic of its kind across Ireland.
The Cork clinic, located at Eastgate Business Park, Little Island, operates every day from 10 AM to 10 PM. The clinic offers a wide range of services, including a walk-in Urgent Care Unit for minor injuries and illnesses. This service is available to both Laya Healthcare members and non-members over 12 months old, with the aim of having patients discharged within 60 minutes of admission.
Additionally, the clinic provides diagnostic services such as X-ray, MRI, CT, DEXA, and Ultrasound by appointment and referral. Future plans include the introduction of Minor Operations and an expanded range of Health & Wellbeing screenings.
The clinic spans two floors and covers 20,000 square feet, making it a significant addition to Laya’s healthcare facilities in Ireland. The development of this clinic was a two-year project, from planning through to construction.
