The Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan TD, has announced that she will appoint the following persons as members of the Board of the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork, for a term of five years:
- Dr Louise Crowley and
- Mr Sean Clarke.
The appointments follow a public call for applications on www.stateboards.ie and an assessment process. Commenting on the appointments Minister Madigan said:
“I am pleased to appoint both Louise Crowley and Sean Clarke to the Board of the Crawford Art Gallery. The appointees have a combined wealth of experience in the areas of business, administration, education and law and have a keen interest in the world of art. I wish both of them the very best during their term and thank them for taking on these important roles.”
