Little Island Business Association has announced plans to showcase all of the businesses in the area that offer services for home improvements and home decor under a new ‘Home Hub’ marketing strategy. Little Island is the area with over 1,000 businesses and 18,000 employees and daily visitors to the area at full operating capacity and is Cork’s largest business district.
The Membership Manager of the association, Mary Jane O’ Regan said “we have a fantastic community here in Little Island and we have a large variety of businesses selling all types of furniture, electrical appliances, carpets, tiles, bathrooms, fireplaces and stoves, blinds, kitchens, slide robes, paint, paving, gates and railings, home alarms, security gates as well as fantastic garden centres and a range of wholesalers for a phenomenal variety of products. In addition we have interior designers based here and so much more which makes Little Island an ideal one stop destination for everything home. In launching ‘The Home Hub’ we want to attract more people to the great opportunities that are here for them in Little Island. Many of the businesses have online and appointment models operating at present and when the economy opens up, the face to face experience coupled with free parking everywhere in Little Island makes it a must visit location. We will be providing regular updates for our member businesses on our platforms and the great news for all Cork citizens is that all our updates are free so follow us on social media and you will see everything we are promoting.”
