2024 was a landmark year for Cantec as they proudly celebrated their 30th Anniversary, marking three decades of delivering exceptional managed print and office automation solutions across Ireland.
- 30th Anniversary: Founded by Grainne and Shay Tuohy in 1994 as a small photocopier dealership with just three team members, Cantec has grown over 30 years into one of Ireland’s leading providers of managed print and technology solutions.
- New Cork Office: Cantec expanded its presence in Munster with the opening of a state-of-the-art office in Little Island, Cork, strengthening its support for local businesses.
- Record Installations: In 2024, Cantec installed a record-breaking 1,541 machines. Notably, the team also secured and delivered on major tenders, including Cork County Council – a significant achievement for the company.
- Little Island Business Association (LIBA) Awards: At the LIBA Awards in October 2024, Cantec / SmartOffice took home not one, but THREE awards – Little Island Sustainability Champion of the Year 2024 (sponsored by Kuehne + Nagel), Little Island New Business of the Year 2024 and Professional Service Team of 2024.
- Rémy Martin Business Cork Awards: In November 2024, Cantec was honoured with a Special Recognition Award for 30 years in business, a tribute to the incredible dedication of their staff and the unwavering support of their customers.
